Christmas in the Park

For two weekends, hundreds of thousands of Christmas lights fill the Terre Hill Park along with food, activities, top notch entertainment, free children’s crafts, music, vendors and more! ‍

Dates:

Friday, December 4 through Sunday, December 6 AND Friday, December 11 through Sunday, December 13

Hours:

Nightly, 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM (hours for specific activities vary- see below). Check our Facebook page for weather updates… activities may not operate in inclement weather

Cost:

General admission is FREE. Food, certain activities, and admission to the lighted walking trail are a small fee. See schedule for cost details. Parking is $5 per vehicle. Click here to purchase light trail tickets online and skip the ticket window!

Weather:

In the event of inclement weather, we may decide to partially or fully close/cancel the event on a day-by-day basis to ensure the safety of our guests, volunteers, and vendors. Nearly all of the event is outdoors, please dress accordingly. The light trail trail is crushed stone and grass. All updates regarding the event will be posted on our Facebook page.

General Parking:

‍General parking is available at 1030 Precast Rd, New Holland, PA 17557 (Weaverland Produce Auction) with heated shuttle service to and from the park. Follow signs as you approach town. Parking is $5 per vehicle.

Drop Off/Pickup:

Drop off/Pickup will be available to load/unload guests, strollers, etc. – use address 210 Lancaster Ave, Terre Hill, PA 17581 and follow signs to drop off location inside the park. This area is for active loading and unloading only- no parking or waiting will be permitted-If picking up, ensure your party is at the drop-off/pickup location and ready to load before you arrive! General parking is at 1030 Precast Rd, New Holland.

Handicapped Parking:‍

Available at the Terre Hill Community Center parking lot – Use the Lancaster Ave. entrance to Conestoga Street to access this paved lot. Have your valid handicap placard ready and visible. There is a short gravel trail to get to the event from this lot. The lighted walking trail is also gravel- the remainder of the event is in the grass. This is the closest parking lot to the event.

Town Parking:

‍Street parking is available in town along Main street and side streets which are a few minutes walk to the park. Pedestrians entering the park must enter at the Lancaster Ave entrance or via the Community Center parking lot. We encourage guests to utilize the large, lit, and paved parking lot at 1030 Precast Rd, New Holland with heated shuttle service directly to the entrance of the event.

Ongoing Events Each Night

• Lighted Walking Trail & Nativity Display‍
  
  • Stroll through the Terre Hill Park walking trail complete with 125+ hand made lighted decorations, music, live nativity (hours vary) and lots and lots of Christmas lights! Admission to the trail is $8, 3 and under are free. Walking distance is approximately a quarter mile. Transportation through the trail is available to those who require assistance. • Christmas Tree Plaza‍
  
  • Enjoy a variety of food including freshly made soup, sandwiches, soft pretzels, funnel cakes, hot chocolate, french fries, quesadillas, tacos, BBQ, sticky buns, kettle corn, coffee and more! Dine under our covered pavilion or in the heated tent. Browse local craft vendors with all kinds of holiday gifts of all kinds! Our children’s holiday craft & activity tent (Santa’s Workshop) is also located in this area!
    
• Visit with Santa‍
  
  • Santa wants to hear from everyone what they want for Christmas this year! Santa will be on site in the activities tent from 6-8:30 pm.
    
• Christmas Village
  
  • ‍Experience the magic of Christmas Village! Browse vendors with holiday themed items perfect for the upcoming gift giving season! Enjoy holiday tunes, tasty treats and warm drinks! The village is also the gateway to the lighted walking trail. Enjoy specialty hot chocolate drinks in Christmas in the Park mugs in fun holiday flavors. Also available are baked goods, hot apple cider, fresh donuts and popcorn. Visit with local organizations including the Terre Hill Historical Society toy train display!‍
• Horse Drawn Carriage Rides
  • ‍Enjoy a ride like no other through town on a horse drawn carriage! Tickets are $5/person, ages 3 and under are free. Get your tickets online here!
• Children’s Crafts and Activities Tent
  
  • ‍Children’s craft stations sponsored by local organizations (free), gingerbread cookie decorating, balloon twisting, visits with Santa and more!‍
• ‍Horse & Pony Rides
  
  • ‍Take a holiday ride with a furry friend! Friday and Saturday nights from 5 – 8:30 PM (small fee)
• ‍Mini Golf
  
  • ‍Kids (and adults) love our holiday themed mini golf under the lights! $1 per player.  5 – 8:30 PM ($1)‍
• ‍Toy Train Display
  
  • ‍Enjoy a holiday themed traveling toy train display by the Choo Choo Barn each night in Christmas Village! Also, don’t miss their Wurlitzer Band Organ playing Christmas tunes in our main parking area on Precast Road.
